He was born in Charleston, South Carolina in 1973, but has spent almost all of his life in eastern Iowa. Prior to joining the firm, Chris practiced for three years with a larger firm in Omaha, Nebraska. Chris attended the University of Iowa College of Law and graduated in 2000 with distinction. While there, he was a member of the Iowa Law Review and worked as an assistant to the Dean of the Law School. Chris also attended the University of Iowa for his undergraduate studies and obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting in 1997. Chris was admitted to the Iowa State Bar Association in 2001 after having been admitted to the Nebraska State Bar Association the year before. Chris's practice is a general practice including but not limited to the areas of estate planning, probate and estate administration, tax preparation and business planning.
