Alyssa was born and raised on a farm in Biggsville Illinois, and graduated from Union High School in 1999. Prior to joining Anderson, Roberts, Porth, & Wallace, Alyssa was the Assistant Director of Compliance for a securities broker dealer in Fairfield, IA. Alyssa attended Drake University Law School and graduated in 2006 with honors. While there, she was a practicing Student Attorney for the Drake Law School Legal Clinic for two years. Alyssa also attended Monmouth College for her undergraduate studies and obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration in 2003. Alyssa was admitted to the Iowa State Bar Association in 2007 after having been admitted to the Illinois State Bar Association in 2006. Alyssa is currently working on her LLM in taxation.
